Jade Zorab wins Director of the Year Award

Amber Gaming’s Managing Director, Jade Zorab won the Director of the Year Award in the SME category at the IoD Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards 2023.

Jade is responsible for the strategic development, growth, and overall performance of Amber Gaming and has played a key role in instilling strong corporate governance practices as an integral part of the business as well as driving the success of Amber Gaming through its rebrand, internationalisation and commercial developments.

The prestigious IoD Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards are a celebration of leadership and achievement designed to recognise and award the Island’s leading minds and their accomplishments and successes to date.

The IoD is an internationally recognised community of around 20,000 directors and senior decision makers worldwide which the Isle of Man comprises of around 300 business leaders alone.

The winners were announced across seven categories at an evening ceremony on 6 October at the Comis Hotel & Golf Resort, where the Award was received by Claire Milne of Appleby on Jade Zorab’s behalf.

This year’s finalists were selected through a rigorous judging process by a panel of distinguished business and political leaders including Hon Alfred Cannan MHK, Chief Minister who was guest speaker on the night. 

Commenting on the award, Jade Zorab, Managing Director said:

“I feel incredibly lucky to be the recipient of this award, particularly whilst being surrounded by such a strong pool of talent, which is testament to the impressive calibre of business leaders here in the Isle of Man. I believe in doing the right thing and that instilling strong corporate governance practices is integral to ensuring a successful business. Being afforded this recognition by the Institute of Directors is a real privilege which I am thankful for. As member of the IoD, I have been surrounded by a global community of like-minded individuals which has directly contributed to my own professional development.”
