Amber Gaming Partners with Melchers Law to Launch German Regulatory Compliance Courses

14th June 2021

Amber Gaming has entered into a partnership with Melchers Rechtsanwaelte to develop training course content tailored to gambling operators in Germany.

The content will be developed by legal and regulatory experts at Melchers, who have been advising the foremost gaming and betting companies for over thirty years. This specialist training content will be delivered via the Amber Gaming Compliance Academy, a leading eLearning management platform offering tailored eLearning solutions since its launch in 2016.

Dr. Mattias Spitz, Senior Partner at Melchers Law, said: ‘The new era of the Interstate Treaty on Gambling, applicable from 1 July 2021, places the highest compliance requirements on licensed gaming operators in Germany. Virtually overnight, a huge demand for qualified experts has emerged in the industry. In cooperation with Amber Gaming, we have developed a professional concept based on our many years of regulatory experience, which provides the required compliance expertise expected by the supervisory authorities in all gaming-relevant areas. This easy-to-understand modular system is time-saving, compact, and constantly updated. Together we want to and we will set new benchmarks.´

Jade Zorab, Managing Director at Amber Gaming, added: ‘ eLearning is essential for operators to develop their understanding of regulations to protect both themselves and their players. The value of training solutions cannot be understated, and we are committed to expanding our comprehensive suite of training courses into new jurisdictions to reflect the multi-jurisdictional and increasing global reach of gambling operators. With a full suite of courses already available for the UK, Isle of Man, Malta, Sweden, and Australia, these new German courses are an important next step in supporting our global client base.’

The courses will be available next month on either a per course or a subscription model basis. As part of the subscription, users will have perpetual access to a fully branded white-labeled platform where they can assign courses, and track progress and learning data through in-depth analytics tools.
