Josh is an integral part of our Corporate Governance team, overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and providing day-to-day assistance with compliance, secretarial, statutory, and governance matters.
He began his career in 2014 with a local stockbrokers firm, where he immersed himself in acquiring new business and undertaking business development initiatives. This role was pivotal, helping him build relationships while learning the basics of AML, CDD, FATCA, and CRS.
He later transitioned to compliance roles, where he took on responsibilities including risk assessments, file reviews, FATCA & CRS reporting, CDD and a general overview of compliance, adhering to both Isle of Man and GB regulations. His compliance career naturally evolved, leading him to an Isle of Man operator in 2021 and served as a member of the risk committee there.
Josh holds several certifications from the International Compliance Association (ICA), including Advanced Certificates in Compliance, AML, and Managing Fraud, and Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance. As a Professional Member of the ICA, he exemplifies high standards in the field.
Outside of work, Josh is a competitive athlete. He represented the Isle of Man in cycling at the Island Games in Bermuda in 2013 and finished 6th in the Isle of Man Parish Walk in 2023, aside from other triathlons and races he has joined.
