We are seeking a Corporate Intelligence Analyst to join our team based in the Isle of Man.

This is a fantastic chance for a graduate or entry-level candidate to further develop their project management skills with training and development opportunities as well as expert PPM mentorship within a supportive team.

The Corporate Intelligence Analyst will work on and manage a variety of due diligence engagements including projects over a cross section of forensic work types, industries, and geographies to help clients prevent and mitigate reputational, regulatory, and financial crime risks.

The main responsibilities for the Corporate Intelligence Analyst will typically include:

  • Assisting our clients with their onboarding, due diligence on entities and individuals, strategic intelligence on counterparties, enhanced due diligence, anti-money laundering or anti-bribery and anti-corruption investigations, litigation intelligence and market-entry decisions
  • Sourcing and securing intelligence from a variety of corporate and open-source intelligence systems
  • Engaging with subject-matter experts to interpret the intelligence
  • Preparing detailed reports to clients
  • Ensuring that client work is delivered to the highest quality standards
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered to deadline, within budget and in compliance with Amber Gaming risk management protocols, regulatory obligations, and ethical standards
  • Dealing directly with clients, internal stakeholders, and Amber Gaming leadership
  • Running projects spanning across an array of services from scoping to delivery, with minimal supervision from Head of Forensic Services and/or Directors
  • You will work both autonomously as well as closely with other analysts within the team to identify opportunities for developing business with new and existing clients across these services
  • Identifying opportunities for increased collaboration with other Amber Gaming services and supporting internal and external marketing effort

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong academic qualifications, ideally in business, law, international relations, languages, or other disciplines in social sciences
  • Experience working in a multinational audit firm, law firm, corporate intelligence firm, financial intelligence centre or law enforcement authority would be preferable
  • Demonstrable expertise in investigations, litigation support and asset tracing
  • Complex problem solving skills together with a meticulousness and ability to see the bigger picture.

Experience and Knowledge:
To succeed in this role the individual will need to demonstrate the following experience and abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Technical knowledge of the regulatory drivers for our work, including key bribery and corruption laws and anti-money laundering laws
  • Experience of drafting reports and other deliverables suitable for presentation to a client
  • Ability to articulate complex and technical findings in both written and oral presentations for a variety of audience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and an enquiring mind.
