Amber is responsible for preparation of financial statements and management accounts for a variety of Amber Gaming clients, preparation of financial board reports which are presented and discussed in board meetings, audit file preparation and ad hoc financial work to meet client and regulatory requirements, such as financial projections and GSC returns. She is also responsible for day-to-day corporate governance administration for a client structure, which includes contract reviews, drafting resolutions and liaising with individuals, including Directors, team members and other relevant third parties on a regular basis.
Amber began her career in 2013 with SMP (which later became Suntera Global), where she honed her skills as a bookkeeper and trainee accountant, specialising in accounting for trusts and companies. Later, she moved on to work for other local firms, where she progressed from a senior accountant to assistant manager to accounts manager, encompassing responsibilities such as company, trust and estate administration, VAT return preparation, company and personal tax return preparation, regulatory return preparation, payroll and meticulous review of financial statements, all while managing her team and aiding in their professional development, and managing her client portfolio.
In 2019, she attained her ACCA qualification, achieving her fellowship in 2024 and has completed certificates in Digital Innovation for Finance and Data Analytics. Amber is also currently an Associate member of STEP, achieving distinctions in the Advanced Certificates in Company Law and Practice, Trust Law and Practice and Principals of International Tax, AML and Compliance.
Beyond her career, Amber’s passion for the arts shines through her involvement in theatre, including a role in the Les Misérables drama in 2024. She hopes to continue participating in more plays in the coming years.
