We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic accounting technician to work with a young and vibrant team within a well-established service provider to regulated gaming companies on the Island. You will undertake bookkeeping for a varied and diverse portfolio of clients within the specialised gaming and digital technology sector. Duties include but are not limited to: - Bank reconciliation management - Regular update and supervision of client creditor and debtor ledgers - Sales ledger posting - Inter-company loan and VAT return reconciliations - Posting of regular accruals and prepayments - Attend to various ad hoc requests from clients with regards to their bookkeeping, financial information and reconciliations You will be organised, comfortable managing your own portfolio of bookkeeping to various deadlines and prioritise tasks accordingly to meet evolving statutory and regulatory demands as they arise. Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure is key. You will work with a wide array of technology including Microsoft Dynamic NAVOne, Jobstream and Xero cloud accounting. Prior experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate. There will also be opportunities available to obtain professional qualifications once the probation period has been passed.
