Regulatory compliance is at the heart of our operations, helping our clients to run their organisations efficiently and compliantly, reducing corporate risk while encouraging a safe and fair market. To support this, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual to head up our regulatory compliance team and identify new ways to refine and develop our compliance offering.

As Head of Regulatory Compliance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Isle of Man-based regulatory compliance team, providing support internally to the team and externally to clients while helping to grow the brand and its services. You will take a hands-on approach across a spectrum of gaming services, helping to enhance and improve the quality and delivery of such services to a range of clients across multiple jurisdictions. You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Ensure all compliance projects are properly resourced and delivered to the highest standards, with a key focus on client relations;
  • Ensure all regulator and audit deadlines are met and that internal reporting, underlying systems and client billing are up to date and accurate at all times;
  • Represent clients on boards as Director, MLRO or DMLRO as applicable;
  • Act as a focal point of escalation internally and externally for operational matters;
  • Manage, mentor and coach your team in helping them reach their full potential;
  • Assist and provide support to PR and other external communications as applicable to promote our gaming operational matters and services; and
  • Keep abreast of gaming regulations globally and assessing the impact to our company and our clients, with a view to advising on implementing changes where required.

You will be a knowledgeable individual with a strong eye for detail and experience of operating at a senior management level, preferably within the online gaming industry. The following attributes would also be advantageous:

  • Strong understanding of regulatory pressures and an awareness of remote gambling regulations and regulatory risks facing gambling operators in key markets;
  • Evidence of acting as an MLRO or DMLRO or being responsible for implementing and testing the effectiveness of an AML/CFT framework on a regular basis;
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, with team leadership experience and the ability to instil confidence and build lasting relationships with clients;
  • Demonstrable ability to interpret legislation and translate to operational systems, processes and procedures;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads in accordance with strict timelines; and
  • Willingness to travel as required.
